| In 1901 Frank Briell becomes the first ABC National Bowling Champion by winning singles with 648. Seven years later he is also reconginized in all-events to become ABC's fist two-time titlist. Each champion recieves a medal featuring an eagel in its design, established as symbol of excellence that endures to this day. |
