Congratulations to Doug Scott, Todd Dennis and Steve Scherle on their perfect games last Tuesday night (Sept. 16, 08) at Empire Lanes. The unusual part here is that these 3 300's were all on the same pair and from both sides of the lane. Doug Scott, a left hander, shot his in the first game while Todd and Steve, both right handers, had theirs in the last game.
Todd also had an 805 series with games of 247, 258 and 300 for the evening. Great bowling by all. Check out the video action below...

Did you know about...
| In what may have been a “first,” the New York Association for the Blind staged a bowling exhibition in 1915. Two three-man teams of bowlers — all of them totally blind — rolled a three-game match at the Railroad Branch YMCA in midtown Manhattan. When a bowler failed to strike, the pinboy called out the numbers of the pins left standing. Top series was 393 by Grand Longenecker. After the match, Longenecker observed that he could have done better, but had trouble adjusting to the strange alleys. |
