Like a new set of ten pins every frame, the number 11 kept cropping up for the Hippe bowling team of St. Louis in 1950.
In the schedule of the C.J.B. League, the Hippe's were team No. 11. In the 11th week of the league, the team won its 11th game on the 11th day of the month. They were 11th in the standings, 11th in the high-game standings, and 11th in the three-game series. The following week, they were scheduled to bowl on (what else?) Lane 11!

Did you know about...
| A Wichita man (Kyle McCrackin) is the first to ever roll two 300s at an ABC Tournament. He has the record for not only 2 in the Tournament but he also did it on the same day. He bowled the first one in game 2 of the doubles and then another one in his first game of the singles. |
